I spent 5 months there and is a beautiful safe place to go. People friendly, place well maintain and the office personnel really helpful. Definitely I will be back next year. Tue only negative point is that you canβt stay there more than 5 month a year. They should have an area for long term campers since there are not many options in the area and in my case I was working close by and after five months I had to move and find another place.
My husband and I have been staying here for a while, and this has been a good experience so far. This is our 1st time staying at an RV campground ever, so we have nothing to compare it to, but we are enjoying ourselves non the less. They are pet friendly, have showers that have great pressure, and are mostly kept clean. Yes, we have a shower, but it's small, and I prefer a bigger area, lol. They also have a laundry building that's pretty cheap. Of course, there's usually a dryer down, but they stay on top of it pretty much. And of course, there are times it's filled with kids because they go there to "cool-off" (it's has ac). But that's more on the parents than the campground. I will say there are some fantastic sunsets here. I've attached some pictures that don't do it justice. But will give you an idea.
Stayed from August until November and was beautiful. Started to get a little crowded but we were in season.
Park was always clean. Neighbors were always friendly. I only had 1 issue where someone had their dogs off leash and they rushed me and my dog but we were OK. Just keep that in mind.
Washers and dryers were always available and showers and bathrooms were pretty clean.
I think this was the best money for the area
Stayed one week in October 2023. Huge park. Clean. Fairly clean restrooms and showers. Play grounds and dog park. Sites have good spacing between, however not all sites are level - strictly an engineering faux pas. Concrete pads and concrete area to put picnic table, etc. Beautiful lake that you will want to stay out of due to alligators and cotton mouth. Not far from shopping and restaurants. Also, not far from a small airport, you will hear lots of planes overhead. Two bars of T-Mobile cell service, but we do get over 40 channels of TV from our antenna. We booked our site three months in advance and paid in full. A couple weeks before our arrival, we received an email telling us the prices had gone up for this park, and we would have to pay the difference to keep our site. I called and blew a gasket, this is not right- they posted a price, we agreed on the price, and I paid in full. You cannot raise the price after that, I got an email many days later saying they had changed their mind and would not make us pay the higher rate. It is a nice park, but it is very over priced. Many open sites the last week of October, not sure if it fills up later in the season. * be sure to read the list of documentation items you need when you check in, they ask for a bit more than other parks.
Great location. We stay one night only on our way to our final destination. The price is average. We only used the laundry facility, clean and plenty of washing dryer machines.
During our stay many sites were open, but we were put in a site to small for our rv. There are good 30 and 50 amp hook ups, water pressure is good as well, but smells. Within the campground there is one building that is decent with okay showers and restroom area, but all other buildings need a lot of improvement as they are horribly taken care of, none are clean either. Throughout the campground there are areas for pets and plenty of scenery to look at. The campground is kept up for the most part although we had to pick up trash when we arrived from the previous rv.
After finding our site we did go back to the office to see if we were able to change our site due to size and the older lady would not even consider our request. As soon as another guest came into the office she started raising her voice and stating that she can't give out info of other guest when that was never a question. Then she continued to repeat the same thing 3 times more, so I told her to have a nice day so she would stop, but she kept on. Then asked for her name and she stated she has worked here 21 years avoiding the purpose of our visit. Out of everywhere I have ever been, I have not come across any one this unprofessional at a campground.
This rating is base on the campground itself not the awful employee, as the employee would get no stars.
I have stayed here at the RV park numerous times and it has always been delightful. Itβs a great campground with many spots along the water( most sought after ofcourse.) just an absolutely beautiful area. Completely sold out for the season. The new electric boxes are all 30/50/100 which is a blessing ( always need 100) the park has it all trails, boat ramps kids play areas, showers, dump station. The rest of park has streams, ball fields, pavilions for events and birthdays. A dog woof park right on the water #spectacular. I believe I read its 650 acres and has an executive golf right next door. Of course there are alligators and snakes that reside here as well. Park is beautifully maintained and offers discounts to Palm Beach residents. Plenty of places to ride bike or even roller blade around. The exercise trail in the main park is fairly long and a good workout. This gets a 5πππππ rating and gets added to my new Best of RV Parks. And itβs close to ten, so easy access for shopping and if your like me restaurants.
Enjoyed site 16 by the lake. But be prepared for constant jet skis and boats on the lake. Oh and don't forget that an airport is next door, so also be prepared for small prop planes and helicopters to take off every 6 minutes. But the bath houses were clean and it's fun watching pelicans go fishing. Also don't forget the huge number of giant iguanas that run all over the place.
